Role Overview

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to support the design and development of automatic systems, with a focus on door mechanisms used in industrial and public infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical mechanisms with focus on reliability and long-life cycles
• Work extensively on sheet metal structures and assemblies
• Design for high-cycle applications (wear, fatigue, impact resistance)
• Select and integrate motors, actuators, shafts, bushings, and linkages
• Improve existing designs based on real-world performance issues
• Work closely with factory teams to ensure practical and manufacturable solutions
• Perform tolerance stack-up and fitment analysis for moving parts

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
• Experience in automatic door systems or similar mechanisms
• Strong knowledge of Sheetmetal design
• Familiar with automation concepts
• Basic knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks / Creo / AutoCAD) or similar products
• Relevant Industries (Preferred Background)

Candidates with experience in the following industries will be preferred:

• Automatic doors and entrance systems
• Elevators and escalators
• Industrial automation equipment
• Railway / metro equipment
• Machinery and equipment manufacturing
• Turnstile and access control systems
• Experience with motors, actuators, or motion systems
• Understanding of manufacturing processes
