Mechanical Design Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Develop 3D models, assemblies and detailed engineering drawings using SolidWorks.
• Design sheet metal parts with flat patterns and manufacturing drawings.
• Design casted components considering process limitations.
• Design welded fabrication structures, jigs, fixtures and machine frames.
• Prepare detailed 2D drawings with complete dimensions,

GD&T, weld symbols and BOM.

• Work with manufacturing teams for design feasibility, tooling

and cost optimization.

• Modify and improve existing designs based on customer requirements and feedback.
• Maintain engineering documentation and support throughout the product lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards and

customer specifications.
