Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Description / Responsibilities:-

Preparation of General Arrangement drawings, Component fabrication drawings in 3D Solid Edge.Doing Mechanical design calculations from shaft selection,motor selection

Preparation of the manufacturing documents as Cross Section drawings, P&ID drawings, BOM etc in 3D Solid Edge(2D/3D)

Knowledge of Machinery,Pump & Piping industry ,Automation will be an added advantage.

3D cad Solid Edge hands on experience with Part/Assembly/Drafting and constraining methodology.Knowledge of Bottom up & Top Down design approach

Good over all communication skills and ability to work in a team and deliver results in a timely manner.

Good technical knowhow of GDnt, material properties, stress-strain curve and required mechnical properties.

Project and design execution will be at client end.

Qualification, Experience and Knowledge requirement

• B.E (Mech/Prod/Auto) , CAD Solid Edge Certification from reputed institute.

• 2-4 years of experience in on Solid Edge . Experience in rotating equipment/Machinery /piping/ pump industry will be an addon advantage.

• Must have hands on experience in Solid Edge design & drafting software.

• Good knowhow of GD&T

• Knowledge about the Team Center or SAP ERP will be an added advantage.

• Independent and proactive with good communication & interpersonal skills.

• Ability to learn and adapt quickly and drive for Excellency & Competency.

• High sense of ownership, strong work ethic, focused on details and results oriented
