About this role
Requirements:
- 2-3 years in mechanical design for consumer electronics or precision devices.
- B. E. /B. Tech or M. Tech in Mechanical, Production, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering, or an M. Des in Product/Industrial Design with strong CAD and manufacturing fundamentals.
Must have:
- Mechanical design of small consumer electronics or precision devices through to production.
- Strong CAD (SolidWorks, Creo, or Fusion) and drawing release with GD& T.
- Injection molding, machining, casting, and finishing you design for the process.
- Tolerance analysis, material selection, adhesives, and sealing.
- Hands-on with prototypes: builds, measurement, teardown.
Nice to have:
- Titanium, resin encapsulation, silicone overmoulding, and flexible circuits in hinges.
- Wearables or eyewear; ergonomics and anatomical fit.
- IP67/68 sealing and drop-robust structures.
- Rapid-prototyping equipment: resin printers, desktop CNC.
