Mechanical Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop CNC machines.
  
• Create 2D & 3D models, assemblies, and detailed part drawings using Inventor & AutoCAD.
  
• Work on machine structures, tooling, fixtures, and panel layouts.
  
• Collaborate with electrical / CNC automation team for integration of CNC systems (Siemens / Fanuc / Mitsubishi, etc.).
  
• Prepare and update BOM, design documents, and technical specifications.
  
• Ensure manufacturability with proper GD&T, tolerances, and machining process understanding.
  
• Provide technical support to production, assembly, and commissioning teams.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of machine tool / CNC machine design (preferably gear machines or SPMs).
  
• Proficiency in Inventor & AutoCAD (mandatory).
  
• Familiarity with CNC systems (Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi) integration is desirable.
  
• Knowledge of gears, kinematics, mechanical drives, hydraulics, pneumatics.
  
• Good understanding of machining, fabrication, and assembly practices.
  
• Analytical thinking and innovative problem-solving.
