Mechanical Design Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Carry out process & mechanical design for WTP, ETP, STP, WWTP with ZLD, RO, and DM plants
• Design and size filtration & separation equipment: clarifiers (Conventional, HRSCC, Lamella, DAF), Pressure Sand / Activated Carbon / Dual Media Filters, VAG Filters, Horizontal Vacuum Belt Filters, and strainers
• Engineer pressure vessels, reaction tanks and complex piping networks in MS / SS/alloy
• Prepare GA drawings, datasheets, hydraulic calculations, technical specifications and BOMs
• Perform equipment sizing and plant layouts to project timelines
• Support technical bid evaluation and vendor qualification

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Mechanical / Chemical Engineering
• 3-5+ years of experience in design of water treatment, filtration, or process equipment
• Working knowledge of relevant design codes (ASME, IS, TEMA) and engineering software
• Strong fundamentals in mechanical design, materials, and fabrication
