Mechanical CAD Engineer

The Job Factory is hiring an experienced Mechanical CAD Engineer for its Design / R&D team in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.

• Prepare and modify 2D AutoCAD drawings, including GA, SA, DD and BOM drawings
• Create detailed manufacturing and fabrication drawings
• Develop General Arrangement and Sub-Assembly drawings
• Prepare and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM)
• Create and modify 3D parts, models and assemblies using SolidWorks
• Generate production-ready drawings from 3D models
• Verify design accuracy and manufacturability
• Prepare development and fabrication drawings
• Coordinate with Production, Quality and Design teams for drawing updates
• Maintain drawing revisions and engineering documentation as per company standards

• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D drafting
• Good knowledge of SolidWorks – 3D Part Modeling, 2D Drafting & Assembly
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T and manufacturing processes
• Knowledge of BOM preparation and document control
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and engineering standards
• Working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office

• Experience in industrial equipment or manufacturing industries
• Experience with control panels or switchgear
• Knowledge of sheet metal development and fabrication drawings

Diploma / Graduate in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
