Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical BIM Specialist / Mechanical BIM Modeler with 3+ years of experience in mechanical BIM modeling and MEP coordination.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems, along with proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD. The candidate will be responsible for developing accurate BIM models, preparing shop drawings, and coordinating mechanical services with other disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed mechanical BIM models using Revit.
• Prepare mechanical shop drawings, construction drawings, and coordinated layouts.
• Model HVAC systems, including ductwork, equipment, and associated components.
• Develop plumbing layouts, including water supply, drainage, and piping systems.
• Model fire protection systems, including sprinkler piping and associated components.
• Coordinate HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection services with architectural, structural, and electrical disciplines.
• Perform clash detection and clash resolution using Navisworks.
• Review architectural and structural drawings to identify potential coordination issues.
• Update BIM models and drawings based on design changes and project requirements.
• Ensure model accuracy and compliance with project standards and specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers, BIM coordinators, and project teams to deliver coordinated drawings.

Required Skills

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Mechanical BIM Modeling / MEP.
• Hands-on experience in HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical shop drawing preparation.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
• Working knowledge of Navisworks for clash detection and coordination.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Understanding of MEP coordination workflows.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Educational Qualification

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
