Job Description:

Responsible for verification and certification of contractor/vendor bills based on actual site execution, approved BOQ, drawings, specifications and contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify RA Bills, Final Bills, Measurement Sheets and supporting documents.
• Check executed quantities against BOQ, approved drawings, specifications and site measurements.
• Verify rates, quantities, deductions, variations, extra items and deviations.
• Coordinate with Site, Construction, Planning, QA/QC and Commercial teams for bill verification.
• Conduct site visits to verify actual work executed and measurements.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in contractor/vendor bills.
• Maintain records of certified quantities, pending bills, variations and reconciliation.
• Prepare billing status and quantity verification reports for management.
• Ensure timely processing of bills as per project requirements.

Multi-Discipline Exposure

The candidate should have sufficient technical knowledge to coordinate and verify basic works related to:

• Mechanical: Equipment, piping, fabrication, erection and associated works.
• Civil: Foundation, structural, concrete, excavation and other basic civil works.
• E&I: Cable trays, cable laying, supports, earthing and basic electrical installation.
• Instrumentation: Instrument installation, tubing, supports and related installation activities.

Must-Have Requirements

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience.
• Strong experience in billing, quantity verification and site measurement.
• Good knowledge of BOQ, RA Bills, measurement sheets and variation/deviation claims.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel.
• Experience in EPC / Oil & Gas / Power / Process / Industrial Projects preferred.
• Should be capable of independently handling billing verification at site/project level.
• Good coordination, communication and documentation skills.

Good-to-Have

• Exposure to Civil, Electrical & Instrumentation works.
• Experience in multi-discipline EPC projects.
• Knowledge of contractual/commercial terms related to project billing.
• Experience in handling multiple contractors/vendors.
