Measurement Postprocessor Engine Testing & Powertrain

Role & Responsibilities

• Perform post-processing of engine test-bench measurement data using DIAdem, FEValys, AVL CONCERTO, Uniplot or equivalent tools.
• Analyze engine-performance measurements and engineering test results.
• Perform signal analysis, data filtering, statistical/trend analysis, correlation analysis and RCA.
• Identify abnormal behavior, performance deviations and potential failure patterns.
• Develop Python scripts for measurement-data processing, automation and integration.
• Automate repetitive test-data analysis, extraction and engineering reporting activities.
• Support engine-performance assessment, test correlation and product validation.
• Maintain measurement databases and perform data-quality and consistency checks.
• Generate accurate engineering reports using Excel, PowerPoint and visualization tools.
• Support failure investigations and engineering problem-solving activities.
• Collaborate with Testing, Validation, Powertrain and Engineering teams.
• Support predictive analytics, pattern recognition and AI-assisted engineering analytics.
• Drive continuous improvement and standardization of measurement/reporting processes.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 38 years of relevant experience in Automotive / Powertrain / Engine Testing / Measurement Data Analytics.
• Hands-on experience with DIAdem / FEValys or equivalent post-processing tools such as AVL CONCERTO / Uniplot.
• Strong knowledge of Engine Test Bench, Combustion Engine and Engine Performance Measurements.
• Good hands-on experience in Python scripting and automation.
• Experience in signal analysis, measurement-data processing, statistical analysis and RCA.
• Knowledge of test correlation, validation and technical reporting.
• B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Mechanical, Automobile, Automotive, Mechatronics or related Engineering discipline preferred.
