Job Description -

EXP Range - 10 yrs to 15 yrs Immediate joiners preffered

• The role involves managing Qualys platform operations including agent deployment, scan scheduling, and ensuring complete asset coverage. You will be responsible for conducting weekly internal scans and monthly external scans, ensuring accuracy, compliance with organizational policies, and alignment with security standards.
• You will drive the remediation lifecycle by planning and prioritizing vulnerabilities based on severity, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring validation through re-scanning. The role requires structured execution of remediation activities, including defining acceptance criteria, validating fixes in test environments, and ensuring smooth production rollout.
• In addition, you will manage risk and exception processes by documenting deviations, coordinating approvals with stakeholders, and implementing compensating controls where remediation is not feasible. You will ensure audit readiness and compliance with internal and regulatory frameworks.
• The role also includes monitoring patch compliance, tracking remediation progress, and publishing regular security posture reports to leadership. You will identify trends, highlight gaps, and recommend improvements in vulnerability closure and patching efficiency.
• You will contribute to system hardening initiatives by supporting secure configurations, implementing baseline standards, and collaborating with engineering teams to strengthen security posture. Where automation is not possible, you will assist in manual remediation and configuration fixes.
• You will also be involved in asset segmentation and security posture management by applying classification models, enabling environment-level controls, and maintaining audit cadence for continuous improvement.
• The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Qualys, deep understanding of vulnerability lifecycle management, and experience in patch management, system hardening, and compliance reporting. A solid understanding of enterprise infrastructure including servers, networks, and endpoints is required, along with strong analytical skills, stakeholder management, and the ability to drive execution in a fast-paced environment.
