Time Shift : US- 2:30AM-7:30AM

Role Description This is a part-time, remote role for a Mathematics Teacher at Codeyoung. The Mathematics Teacher will design and deliver interactive online math sessions that complement coding and STEM-focused learning for students aged 5 to 17. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, aligning content with Codeyoung's hands-on curriculum, teaching live classes, and adapting instruction to diverse learning styles and levels. The teacher will assess student understanding, provide timely feedback, and collaborate with the academic team to refine teaching materials and activities. The role also involves maintaining clear communication with learners and guardians, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and engaging online classroom environment.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Mathematics and Mathematics Education, with the ability to explain concepts clearly to young learners.
• Experience in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development, particularly for interactive, student-centric online classes.
• Status as a Qualified Teacher or equivalent teaching experience in mathematics or related STEM subjects.
• Demonstrated ability to engage children and teenagers in virtual classrooms using hands-on, activity-based teaching methods.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and strong classroom management skills in an online environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees or teaching certifications are an advantage.
• Comfort with digital teaching tools, learning platforms, and basic coding or STEM concepts; prior experience in edtech is a plus.
