Marketing Manager

Kian Shipbuilding is looking for a Marketing Manager.

We are building a world class shipyard at Shikrapur, Pune, spanning close to 1 lakh sq ft. Fast interceptors, patrol and rescue craft, and self-propelled autonomous boats, built in India, for India and the world.

Behind it are 55 years in marine propulsion, a family business that began with marine gearboxes in 1970 and grew into powering the boats that guard India's coastline.

Now we need the person who will bring in the orders.

You have done it before. You know the corridors of Mazagon Dock, Garden Reach, Goa Shipyard, Hindustan Shipyard and Cochin Shipyard. You know how the Navy, Coast Guard and state agencies buy, from the first enquiry to the final contract. You have won boat orders from PSUs and government owned defence shipyards, in India and abroad, and you have the relationships to do it again.

What you will do:

• Build and own the order pipeline across Indian defence shipyards, PSUs and government buyers
• Take Kian Shipbuilding to navies and coast guards in friendly foreign countries
• Lead tenders, technical presentations and commercial negotiations, start to finish
• Represent us at defence expos and boat shows in India and overseas
