Marketing Manager ( Business Development)

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Identify potential customers and generate new business opportunities in the assigned territory.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with industrial clients, manufacturers and business partners.
• Conduct regular customer visits, product presentations and business development activities.
• Generate qualified leads, follow up on enquiries and convert opportunities into confirmed orders.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis and territory development.
• Coordinate with internal sales, technical and service teams to meet customer requirements.
• Prepare sales reports, customer visit reports and business forecasts.
• Promote woodworking machinery, capital equipment and turnkey project solutions.
• Travel extensively within the assigned territory for customer meetings and business development.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Minimum 4 - 10 years of experience in B2B sales, industrial marketing or business development.
• Experience in industrial machinery, capital equipment, engineering products or woodworking machinery preferred.
• Strong lead generation, negotiation and customer relationship management skills.
• Excellent English communication skills and proficiency in the regional language.
• Target-oriented, self-motivated and capable of independently handling the assigned territory.
• Willingness to travel extensively.

Important Note Mandatory Machinery Knowledge

Candidates applying for the Marketing Manager – Mumbai, Hyderabad & Jodhpur positions must have prior experience and strong technical knowledge of industrial machinery, woodworking machinery, or capital equipment.

Candidates with only general marketing experience and no machinery-related knowledge are requested not to apply.

Preference will be given to candidates with hands-on experience in machinery sales, technical product demonstrations, customer handling and B2B industrial sales.
