Marketing Manager – Business Development & Client Relations

About the Role

We are looking for confident, articulate and business-oriented professionals to drive new business opportunities, build client relationships and support business growth at Big Box International Pvt. Ltd.

The ideal candidate should have excellent English communication skills, a polished professional presence, strong interpersonal skills and the confidence to interact with clients and senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify potential clients, generate business opportunities and develop new client relationships.
• Maintain existing client relationships and identify opportunities for repeat business.
• Conduct client meetings, business presentations and networking activities.
• Understand client requirements and coordinate with internal teams on suitable proposals and solutions.
• Build professional networks, follow up on business leads and drive opportunities towards closure.
• Represent the company at client meetings, industry events and business visits, including occasional outstation travel.
• Take initiative and contribute to business development and growth.

Candidate Requirements

• 2–5 years of relevant experience in business development, marketing, client servicing, corporate relations, relationship management or similar.
• Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written) are essential.
• Confident, articulate and professional, with strong interpersonal and presentable presence.
• Proactive, commercially aware and comfortable initiating conversations and building relationships.
• Strong coordination, follow-up and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for business requirements.

Preferred Industry Background

Candidates from service-based industries, marketing, business development, client relations and hospitality (hotel management) are encouraged to apply.

Experience in sales, marketing, corporate relations, guest relations, events or business development within a five-star hotel will be an advantage. Candidates from any department of a five-star hotel may also be considered if they demonstrate excellent communication, confidence and suitability for a client-facing business role.

Location & Relocation – Important

1. Mandatory Requirement - Candidates must be currently based in Kolkata or have previously lived in Kolkata. Applicants currently based elsewhere in India may also apply if they have a genuine Kolkata connection.
2. Relocation to Gurugram is mandatory, as this is a full-time, on-site position.
