Marketing Intern

Key responsibilities

Content writing

• Write blog posts on product use cases, industry topics and innovation/activities done at Kriyadocs
• Draft case studies from customer data and SME interview notes
• Prepare interview questions, conduct or sit in on interviews, and write them up as Q&A or feature articles
• Write solution articles and product pages explaining what a product does, who it's for and what problem it solves
• Repurpose long-form pieces into social posts, newsletter blurbs and short summaries

Research and learning

• Study our existing content, product documentation and sales material to understand positioning and tone
• Follow industry news, publisher announcements and other content, and use it to build content

Must have

• Clear, grammatically sound written English

• Ability to read technical or product material and explain it in plain language

• Basic research skills: finding sources, checking facts, citing correctly • Comfortable taking feedback and revising drafts

• Hands-on with a range of tools: Google Docs / MS Word, Canva, a grammar checker, and AI writing assistants (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or similar)

• Uses AI tools with judgment. Can use them for research, outlines and first passes, but the final draft reads like a person wrote it: specific, accurate, and free of generic filler and stock AI phrasing

• Genuine curiosity about how scholarly publishing works and what our products do, and a willingness to keep learning beyond the brief

Nice to have

• Exposure to scholarly publishing, academic research, EdTech, SaaS or B2B tech

• Awareness of terms like peer review, open access, metadata, XML workflows or journal production

• Basic SEO knowledge and tools (Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush or Ubersuggest)

• Experience with a CMS (WordPress, HubSpot, Webflow)

• A portfolio: blog, college publication, Medium posts or published articles
