The role in one line
You build the marketing for a group that sells both hard financial expertise and pure creative work which means learning to write for a private equity partner and a fashion brand in the same week.
Tracks
Tell us which you are strongest in. You will get exposure to all three, but we will anchor you in one.
• Content and copy — thought leadership, deal announcements, case studies, newsletters, website copy, scripts
• Social and performance — channel calendars, community management, paid campaigns, analytics, influencer co-ordination
• Brand and design — visual identity application, deck and collateral design, social creatives, campaign concepting
What you'll actually do
• Plan and run content calendars across LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube and the Group websites, adjusting tone to each brand
• Write and edit copy — LinkedIn posts, blog articles, case studies, email campaigns, video scripts, ad copy
• Design or co-ordinate creative assets with the RoughCut Labs team; support on shoots, edits and production logistics
• Run and report on paid campaigns across Meta, Google and LinkedIn, including budget tracking and performance analysis
• Support influencer and partnership outreach: identification, outreach, brief co-ordination, deliverable tracking
• Maintain the analytics dashboard — reach, engagement, traffic, lead quality — and bring an actual point of view about what the numbers mean
• Assist on client-facing campaigns for RoughCut Labs accounts, and on internal brand-building for the Group

What we're looking for
Must have
• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Design, Business or a related field — or a portfolio strong enough that the degree does not matter
• Genuinely good written English with a feel for tone. B2B finance writing and consumer brand writing are different instruments
• Working knowledge of at least one relevant tool set: Canva, Figma or Adobe Creative Suite; or Meta Ads Manager and Google Analytics; or a CMS
• A portfolio, samples, or even a personal account you have grown — show us something you made
• Attention to detail. A typo in a deal announcement is expensive
Good to have
• Video editing in Premiere Pro, Final Cut or CapCut, or motion graphics
• SEO fundamentals, email marketing platforms, or marketing automation
• Prior internship at an agency, startup, or in-house marketing team
• Understanding of the startup, VC or consulting landscape — helpful when writing for FundVice and DeckVice
Who this role is not for
Someone who only wants to make things look good, or only wants to write. Marketing here is measured on outcomes, and you will be asked what your work did, not just what it was.
