About this role
Role & responsibilities - Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the company's products and services.
- Identify new business opportunities and potential customers.
- Generate leads through various marketing channels and follow up with prospective customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers.
- Conduct market research to understand customer requirements, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Coordinate with the sales team to achieve business and revenue targets.
- Prepare and share quotations, product details, and other marketing materials with customers.
- Handle customer enquiries and provide timely follow-ups.
- Plan and coordinate promotional activities, exhibitions, campaigns, and other marketing initiatives.
- Maintain proper records of leads, customer interactions, enquiries, and follow-ups.
- Prepare regular marketing reports and provide updates to management.
- Coordinate with the digital marketing team for online promotions and lead generation.
- Perform other marketing and business development activities assigned by management.
Preferred candidate profile
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce, or equivalent qualification.
- 13 years of experience in marketing, sales, or business development.
- Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer-handling and relationship-building abilities.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office, Excel, and digital marketing platforms.
- Target-oriented, proactive, and self-motivated.
- Willingness to make customer visits and develop new business opportunities.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
- Candidates with experience in a trading/manufacturing company will be preferred.
