Reporting To: Marketing Manager / HOD

Job Purpose

To provide effective coordination and MIS support to the Marketing function by managing marketing data, preparing regular reports and dashboards, tracking business activities, and coordinating with Sales, Marketing and other internal teams for timely execution of marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Marketing MIS & Reporting

• Prepare and maintain daily, weekly and monthly Marketing MIS reports.
• Consolidate sales, product, territory, dealer/distributor and campaign-related data from various sources.
• Prepare management reports, dashboards and performance summaries for review.
• Track actual performance against targets, budgets and previous-year performance.
• Identify data gaps, inconsistencies and unusual trends and highlight them to the concerned team.

2. Advanced Excel & Data Analysis

• Handle large datasets and prepare analytical reports using MS Excel.
• Strong working knowledge of:
• VLOOKUP / XLOOKUP
• SUMIF / SUMIFS
• COUNTIF / COUNTIFS
• IF / nested IF
• INDEX-MATCH
• Pivot Tables & Pivot Charts
• Conditional Formatting
• Data Validation
• Text & Date functions
• Sorting, filtering and data cleaning
• Excel dashboards and charts
• Use Excel to analyze sales trends, product performance, territory-wise performance and campaign effectiveness.
• Develop and maintain automated/reusable MIS formats wherever possible.

3. Sales & Marketing Coordination

• Coordinate with Sales/Marketing teams for collection and consolidation of business data.
• Follow up with regional/zonal teams for timely submission of reports and required information.
• Maintain trackers for marketing activities, campaigns, product launches, promotional activities and other initiatives.
• Coordinate with internal departments such as Accounts, HR, Regulatory, Supply Chain and Corporate teams wherever required.

4. Marketing Activity Tracking

• Maintain records of marketing schemes, promotional activities, events, farmer meetings, dealer meets, exhibitions and other marketing initiatives.
• Track activity-wise budgets, utilization and outcomes.
• Prepare post-event/activity reports and management summaries.

5. Management Support

• Prepare presentations and business review reports for management meetings.
• Support the Marketing HOD in analyzing business data and preparing presentations.
• Provide timely data and reports for monthly/quarterly business reviews.
• Maintain proper documentation and records of Marketing activities.

Required Skills

• Strong MS Excel skills are mandatory.
• Good analytical and numerical ability.
• Strong MIS and reporting skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work with large volumes of data.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good follow-up and time-management skills.
• Ability to prepare professional PowerPoint presentations.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Educational Qualification

• Graduate in any discipline.
• MBA/PGDM in Marketing will be an added advantage.
• Candidates with experience in Agrochemical / Fertilizer / FMCG / Agriculture / Chemical industries will be preferred.

Experience

2–5 years of relevant experience in Marketing Coordination, Sales MIS, Marketing MIS, Business MIS or Sales Coordination.
