Marketing & Communication Coordinator

About the Role

We are looking for a Marketing & Communication Coordinator for Thane office. This is mainly a marketing operations and project coordination role, not a creative marketing position. The role is approximately 70% execution and 30% stakeholder coordination, with a strong focus on keeping marketing activities organised, on schedule and moving forward.

Most important requirement: Ownership. The person must take responsibility, solve problems, follow up until completion and work without constant supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the annual marketing calendar and coordinate approximately 6-7 content publications every week.
• Manage content schedules, CMS activities and website publishing through WordPress.
• Schedule social media content and maintain content, event and social media calendars.
• Coordinate the monthly internal newsletter and upload approved content to SharePoint.
• Track deadlines, approvals, interviews, stakeholder inputs and dependencies.
• Follow up proactively with stakeholders and ensure no task or deliverable is missed.
• Manage workflows and task assignments using ClickUp or similar project management tools.
• Identify delays or bottlenecks, propose solutions and escalate risks when required.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external agencies, and gradually take over activities currently handled by an external agency.
• Prepare monthly reports for website, LinkedIn and internal newsletter performance.
• Maintain trackers, branded templates and basic marketing documentation.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a strong project coordinator with exposure to marketing rather than a pure marketing or creative specialist. Organisation, follow-up, ownership and stakeholder coordination are more important than advanced design skills.

• 5-8 years of experience in project coordination, marketing operations, campaign coordination, communications or a similar role.
• Strong planning, organisation, follow-up and administrative skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines at the same time.
• Comfortable following up with senior stakeholders for actions, inputs and approvals.
• Persistent but professional, with the confidence to coordinate people without direct authority.
• Able to work independently in an international and corporate environment.
• Professional written and spoken English.
• Experience in a multinational or matrix organisation is preferred.
• Basic Canva, template-based content work or layout knowledge is sufficient; advanced design skills are not required.

Tools & Platforms

• Project management tools such as ClickUp, Monday.com, Microsoft Planner or similar.
• WordPress or another content management system.
• SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Viva Engage and LinkedIn.
• Social media scheduling tools such as Meltwater.
• Basic exposure to Canva, Adobe InDesign, Figma or HubSpot is an advantage.
