About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Buyer / Procurement Professional to manage procurement activities related to Marketing Services, Events, Consultancy, Merchandise, Media Buying, Hotels, Travel Management, and other Sales & Marketing-related services.

The candidate will be responsible for supplier development, competitive bidding, commercial negotiations, purchase order management, cost optimization, and coordination with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage procurement activities for marketing services, events, consultancy, merchandise, media buying, hotels, travel management, and other related services.
• Identify, evaluate, develop, and onboard new suppliers to ensure competitive sourcing and sustainable supplier relationships.
• Prepare and manage Bidder Lists, RFQs, quotations, technical evaluations, and commercial comparisons.
• Conduct price benchmarking, cost analysis, and commercial evaluations to achieve cost-effective sourcing.
• Plan and conduct price negotiations with suppliers and agencies.
• Drive cost-saving initiatives through localization, alternate sourcing, supplier development, and process improvements.
• Create and manage Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure necessary approvals before releasing them to suppliers.
• Handle Purchase Order amendments and change management.
• Support supplier registration and onboarding through relevant procurement systems.
• Coordinate with Business Users, Finance, suppliers, and other internal stakeholders to resolve procurement-related issues.

• Strong knowledge of Procurement / Purchasing processes
• Experience in Marketing & Services Procurement
• Knowledge of Event, Media, Consultancy, Travel & Hotel procurement
• Supplier identification, evaluation, development, and onboarding
• RFQ, bidding and quotation management
• Price comparison and commercial benchmarking
• Cost estimation and cost analysis
• Strong supplier negotiation and contract management skills
• Purchase Order creation and management
• Knowledge of SAP / Procurement systems
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Understanding of commercial and legal terms

Key Performance Areas

• Achievement of cost-saving and procurement KPIs
• Effective supplier sourcing and development
• Timely completion of RFQ, bidding, evaluation, and negotiation activities
• Successful supplier onboarding
• Effective price benchmarking and commercial negotiations
• Purchase Order accuracy and timely processing
• Supplier performance and relationship management

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in Corporate Procurement / Services Procurement / Marketing Procurement / Indirect Procurement, particularly in areas such as:

Marketing | Events | Media Buying | Consultancy | Merchandise | Travel | Hotels | Advertising | Agencies | Corporate Services will be preferred.
