About the Role
At Data Semantics, were looking for a curious, analytical, and detail-oriented Market Research Intern to join our
growing team.
This is a 3-month internship opportunity designed for students and freshers who are looking to gain practical industry
experience in market research, competitor analysis, customer insights, and business research.
You will work on practical research assignments and collaborate with sales, marketing, service and product teams to
understand markets, identify business opportunities, analyse competitors, and generate meaningful insights.
What Were Looking For
Wed love to hear from candidates who have:

Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field
Freshers and recent graduates with a strong interest in market research and business research
Strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Sheets
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Curiosity to understand businesses, industries, markets, and emerging technologies
A proactive and problem-solving mindset
Willingness to learn and gain practical industry experience
Key Responsibilities

Conduct market research on industry trends, emerging technologies, customer needs, and business
opportunities

Gather and analyse customer insights to identify market opportunities and business trends
Monitor competitors, including their products, pricing, positioning, and go-to-market strategies
Conduct LinkedIn research to identify target companies, key decision-makers, and potential business
opportunities

Research companies, industries, markets, and relevant business segments
Support surveys, interviews, and other research projects

Prepare research reports, presentations, and actionable business recommendations
Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to provide relevant research and insights
Track developments in AI, data, analytics, automation, and other technologies relevant to Data Semantics

Preferred / Desired Experience (Optional)
Exposure to market research, business research, competitive intelligence, or business analysis through
academic projects or coursework

Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, Python, R, or SPSS
Experience using LinkedIn or other online platforms for company and decision-maker research
Understanding of B2B businesses, technology companies, SaaS, AI, or analytics is an advantage
Strong interest in emerging technologies, business trends, and market intelligence
