About the Team
The S&D vertical at Ninjacart is focused on the farm to retailer business of procuring
from farmers and delivering to retailers - ensuring that farmers get paid the right price
for their eorts and that retailers are able to get market quality produce delivered at
their doorsteps. While this value proposition is solid and proven, it needs tweaking
depending on the size of the town or the geography we operate it. As a part of the
team, you will be in charge of sales and margins of the categories assigned to you. For
this, you will need to understand our customers needs and will need to ensure that you
are able to provide them the same at the right pricing and with the right value
propositions. If the problem statements like understanding the market, creating the
right assortment mix to target maximum customers, changing the same as per
seasonality, engaging customers with virtual marketing, optimizing the source for the
same leading to better margins, and overall adding to our customers prot excites you,
then this is the opportunity for you.
Responsibilities
Visit the major markets in the city on a regular basis.
Collect the market prices of the dened skus
Collect the sources of the ore dened skus
To understand the market arrivals and quality of the skus
Overall reporting the market information
