Manufacturing Excellence Executive

ROLE PURPOSE :

Introduces and assists in implementing the best practices to improve the performance of manufacturing process, ensuring implementation of improvement projects to impact company bottom line and sustainability

KEY RESULT AREAS

• Define Manufacturing Excellence objectives, targets, and improvement plans for all manufacturing sites.
• Facilitate implementation of FIP, DMT, Kaizen, and other Manufacturing Excellence initiatives across manufacturing locations.
• Monitor execution of Manufacturing Excellence projects and track achievement against defined targets.
• Identify performance gaps in Manufacturing Excellence initiatives and drive corrective actions for continual improvement.
• Coordinate with the Corporate Manufacturing Excellence team for effective deployment of improvement programs.
• Organize and facilitate training programs on DMAIC, PDCA, 5S, Kaizen, and other Manufacturing Excellence tools.
• Build employee awareness and capability in continuous improvement methodologies across all levels.
• Ensure effective implementation of Manufacturing Excellence tools and techniques at manufacturing sites.
• Track and communicate the status of Manufacturing Excellence initiatives on a regular basis.
• Prepare and submit periodic progress reports, dashboards, and performance updates on Manufacturing Excellence projects.
• Support the publication of monthly newsletters by providing project updates, success stories, and key achievements.
• Monitor key performance indicators and drive initiatives for continual improvement in operational performance.
• Analyze performance trends and recommend improvement actions to enhance manufacturing efficiency and effectiveness.
• Conduct process audits to verify adherence to defined systems, procedures, and Manufacturing Excellence standards.
• Conduct process reviews to identify non-conformities, improvement opportunities, and best practice adoption.
• Report compliance status against documented procedures, plans, and standard operating practices.
• Track closure of audit findings, non-compliances, and opportunities for improvement (OFIs).
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence across all manufacturing sites.
• Ensure timely completion and sustainability of Manufacturing Excellence projects and initiatives.
• Measure and report the business impact of continuous improvement projects in terms of productivity, quality, cost, and efficiency.
