About this role
- The implementation of Industry 4.0 tools, enabling real-time feedback to the operating team.
- In-depth analysis of process data, and building relevant cause-effect correlations
- Develop a vendor eco-system to out-source parts, where internal capability is limited
- Collaborate with vendors to develop their processes, in line with HyperionMT s quality requirement
- Be the deciding authority on process-wise make or buy decisions

Education and/or Work Experience
- B-Tech or M-Tech in Mechanical Engineering
- 8-10 years of prior experience in Automotive, Aerospace or Materials Engineering
- Excellent communication & influencing skills.
- Structured and systematic approach in problem solving
- Project management skills in the scope of manufacturing
Technical Skills/Physical Requirements
- Deep knowledge in finishing processes: Machining, Grinding, EDM, Lapping etc
- Prior experience of working within an Operational Excellence framework: Lean, SixSigma, WCM, TPM
- Strong knowledge of ISO9001, and critical tools in Process: PFMEA, SPC
- Strong knowledge in problem solving tools: 5-why, A3, 8D etc
