Job Description - Manual QA Engineer

Work Location: Vasai, Mumbai

We are looking for a Manual QA Engineer with strong hands-on experience in manual testing, API testing, and database testing to ensure application quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and end-to-end testing.
• Prepare and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
• Perform API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Execute SQL queries to validate database accuracy, data integrity, and consistency.
• Identify, report, track, and retest defects using Jira or similar tools.
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure quality delivery.

Required Skills:

• 3-4 years of hands-on experience in manual software testing.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Hands-on experience in API testing, REST APIs, JSON, and response validation.
• Good SQL skills and experience in database testing.
• Experience with defect-tracking tools such as Jira.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Good to Have:

• Basic knowledge or hands-on experience in automation testing.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
