Role Description This is a full-time, Senior Analyst role based in Chandigarh Location. The Manual Tester – Senior Analyst will be responsible for analyzing requirements, creating detailed test scenarios and test cases, and executing manual tests across web, mobile, and enterprise applications. This role includes logging, tracking, and retesting defects, coordinating with developers and business analysts to clarify issues, and ensuring high-quality software releases. The position involves preparing and maintaining test documentation, participating in test plan and test strategy discussions, and contributing to process improvements in the QA lifecycle. The Senior Analyst will also mentor junior testers, support user acceptance testing, and provide clear, concise test reports to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of strong manual testing skills, including test case design, test execution, defect reporting, and regression testing.
• Experience with functional, integration, system, and user acceptance testing in complex business environments.
• Ability to analyze requirements, user stories, and specifications to identify test conditions and edge cases.
• Familiarity with basic test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Zephyr, TestRail or similar) and defect tracking workflows.
• Good understanding of SDLC and STLC, with experience working in Agile or iterative delivery models.
• Strong documentation skills for creating test plans, test cases, test reports, and traceability matrices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and root-cause identification abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
