Manual Test Engineer Job Overview We are looking for a detail-oriented

Manual Test Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing web, mobile, and desktop applications to ensure high-quality software delivery. This role is ideal for freshers and experienced professionals with a passion for software testing, bug identification, and quality assurance. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business and functional requirements.
• Create and execute test cases, test plans, and test scenarios.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing.
• Identify, document, track, and verify software defects.
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts.
• Validate bug fixes and perform re-testing.
• Ensure applications meet functional and usability requirements.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Prepare testing reports and maintain QA documentation.
• Suggest improvements to testing processes and product quality.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience in manual testing of web and mobile applications.
• Ability to write effective test cases and bug reports.
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Bugzilla.
• Knowledge of SQL for database validation is an added advantage.
• Basic understanding of API testing using Postman is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 0–5 years of experience in Manual Testing.
• ISTQB Foundation Certification is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of Agile methodology is preferred. What We Offer
