Manual Software Tester (QA)

## Job Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Manual Software Tester (QA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our web and mobile applications by identifying bugs, validating functionalities, and ensuring a seamless user experience. The candidate should have a strong understanding of software testing methodologies and excellent problem-solving skills. ## Key Responsibilities * Understand business requirements, functional specifications, and application workflows. * Prepare and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans based on requirements. * Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and user acceptance testing (UAT). * Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools. * Verify bug fixes and perform re-testing to ensure issue resolution. * Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and support teams to understand application requirements and clarify issues. * Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing. * Validate application performance from a functional perspective. * Ensure software releases meet quality standards before deployment. * Prepare testing reports and provide regular status updates to management. * Participate in requirement discussions and provide inputs from a quality perspective. * Maintain testing documentation and contribute to process improvements. ## Required Skills & Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. * 1-3 years of experience in Manual Software Testing. * Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). * Experience in writing and executing test cases and test scenarios. * Knowledge of defect tracking and project management tools. * Understanding of web applications, APIs, and database testing concepts. * Basic knowledge of SQL queries for data validation. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Good communication and documentation skills. * Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. ## Preferred Skills * Experience in testing web and mobile applications. * Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. * Basic understanding of API testing tools such as Postman. * Exposure to automation testing concepts will be an added advantage. ## Desired Candidate Profile * Excellent attention to detail and a quality-first mindset. * Strong logical and analytical thinking. * Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. * Quick learner with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues. ## Employment Details * Job Type: Full-Time * Experience: 1-3 Years * Location: Indore, Madhya Pradesh * Working Days: Monday to Saturday (1st & 3rd Saturday Off) ## Why Join Us? * Opportunity to work on challenging and innovative software products. * Collaborative and growth-oriented work environment. * Career advancement and learning opportunities. * Exposure to end-to-end software development and testing processes.
