About this role
Position : Manual QA Engineer
Location : Chennai , India Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and functional specifications.
- Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, and sanity testing.
- Perform UI/UX validation across multiple browsers and devices.
- Conduct API validation using Postman.
- Validate data using SQL queries.
- Report, track, and verify defects using bug-tracking tools.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and product owners.
- Prepare QA reports and release sign-off documentation.
- Ensure applications meet quality standards before production deployment.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Experience in functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and usability testing.
- Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar defect management tools.
- Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation.
- Experience with API testing using Postman.
- Good understanding of web and mobile application testing.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and documentation abilities. -
