JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Manager / Senior Manager Financial Reporting, Statutory Audit & MISIndustry: Renewable Energy (Solar, Wind, Hybrid, Energy Storage)

We are looking for a finance professional with strong expertise in financial reporting, statutory audit coordination, and MIS reporting to support our expanding business operations.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Reporting

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards (Ind AS / IFRS / Companies Act requirements).
• Ensure timely and accurate financial closing processes across multiple SPVs/projects.
• Review general ledger entries, reconciliations, accruals, and provisions.
• Support consolidation of financial statements for group entities.
• Coordinate with tax, treasury, and operations teams for accurate financial reporting.
• Assist in preparation of board reports, investor reports, and lender reporting packs.

Statutory Audit & Compliance

• Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, and consultants for completion of audits.
• Prepare audit schedules, supporting documents, and financial analysis for audit reviews.
• Ensure compliance with Companies Act, Ind AS, GST, TDS, and other regulatory requirements.
• Track audit observations and ensure timely closure of audit points.
• Support in preparation and filing of annual financial statements and regulatory submissions.

MIS & Financial Analysis

• Prepare monthly MIS reports including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, project profitability, and variance analysis.
• Develop dashboards and analytical reports for management decision-making.
• Monitor operational KPIs for renewable energy projects including generation, tariffs, receivables, and O&M costs.
• Conduct budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance analysis.
• Work closely with business teams to identify cost optimization opportunities and financial risks.

Process Improvement & Controls

• Strengthen internal financial controls and reporting processes.
• Drive automation and standardization of MIS and reporting formats.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity across ERP/accounting systems.
• Support implementation or enhancement of ERP systems and finance tools.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) / MBA Finance / CMA preferred.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, audit, and MIS.
• Experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, power, EPC, or project-based industries preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Ind AS, Companies Act, GST, and statutory compliance.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, financial modeling, and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Tally/Dynamics preferred).
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple entities/projects and work in a fast-paced environment.
