Manager - Warehouse

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage receipt, storage, handling, and dispatch of raw materials, solvents, hazardous chemicals, and finished goods.
• Ensure strict compliance with safety, EHS, and statutory regulations (Hazchem, MSDS, PESO, Factory Act).
• Maintain accurate inventory control (FIFO/FEFO/Batch-wise traceability).
• Coordinate with Production, QC, Procurement, and Dispatch for smooth material flow.
• Ensure proper storage conditions (segregation, temperature control, incompatibility management).
• Lead periodic stock audits, reconciliation, and MIS reporting.
• Monitor warehouse KPIs: inventory accuracy, dispatch TAT, losses, damages, and near-miss incidents.
• Implement 5S,material identification, and safe chemical handling practices.
• Manage warehouse team, contractors, and forklift operations.
• Optimize warehouse space utilization and material movement.

Qualification: M.B.A./M.Sc. (Chemistry)

Nature of Experience:

• 8 to 15 years Warehouse experience in Fine chemicals, Specialty chemicals, Batch process industry.
• Strong knowledge of hazardous material handling and statutory compliance.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle preferred).
• Good leadership, planning, and coordination skills.
