Role Summary

Manages multiple tax engagements across federal, state, and international jurisdictions. Ensures technical accuracy, compliance, and alignment with ASC 740 (Income Taxes).

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, review, and finalize complex tax returns for corporations, partnerships, and individuals.
• Oversee preparation of consolidated and multistate returns ensuring proper allocation and apportionment.
• Review ASC 740 tax provisions, deferred tax assets/liabilities, and FIN 48 documentation.
• Provide technical guidance on federal and state audit inquiries and client communications.
• Supervise and mentor teams across multiple engagements.
• Coordinate with auditors and advisory teams to align financial reporting and tax compliance.

Core Skills & Competencies

• Advanced technical expertise in ASC 740.
• Comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and international tax law.
• Ability to manage teams and coordinate complex tax engagements.
• Effective communication with clients and internal leadership.
• Strong analytical and project management skills.

Education & Credentials

• CPA license or EA (Enrolled Agent) certification preferred.
• 6–8 years of tax compliance and review experience, including ASC 740 exposure.

Delegation / Decision Authority

Authorized to approve finalized returns and tax provisions within established parameters.

Manages client relationships and ensures engagement profitability.
