Role Overview

FK India is seeking a highly technical and meticulous Manager - Treasury to take full ownership of treasury operations across three legal entities in India. This is a critical role for a Chartered Accountant who thrives on operational excellence in cashflow management, banking operations, risk mitigation and treasury accounting.

Key Responsibilities

1. Liquidity & Cash Management

• Cash Flow Oversight: Manage daily cash flow by tracking transactions and reviewing internal reports to ensure adequate liquidity for working capital needs.
• Forecasting: Prepare monthly actual and forecasted Cash Flow Statements based on the latest budgets and forecasts.
• Investment & Repatriation: Invest short-term surplus cash and lead repatriation processes (capital reduction, dividends, or buybacks) to the corporate office.
• Funding & Capital: Lead and coordinate with the Global Treasury Team on External Commercial Borrowings (ECB), equity infusions, and fresh bank borrowings for plant expansions, acquisitions, or working capital shortfalls.

2. Banking & Compliance

• Relationship Management: Manage all bank accounts, including opening/closing accounts, signor changes, and banking system administration.
• System Transition: Lead the transition of cash management systems between banking partners and perform bid analyses.
• Regulatory Adherence: Ensure all FX receipts and payments comply with RBI guidelines and maintain active liaison with banks.
• Operational support for receivables - Approve and co-ordinate for LCs for domestic / foreign trade by working closely with banks. Co-ordinate with banks for BGs required for participating in various government tenders. Oversee and monitor EDPMS and IDPMS compliances

3. Risk Management & Strategy

• FX Management: Analyze currency fluctuation impacts, evaluate consolidated FX exposures, and work with Corporate Treasury (Germany) to implement effective hedging strategies.
• Cost Optimization: Explore interest-saving options with banks to ensure actual finance costs remain within budget.
• Process Excellence: Define and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure strict adherence to internal controls.

4. Systems & Strategic Support

• ERP Transformation: Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for financial modules during the transition to SAP S/4 HANA.

Criteria

Requirement

Qualification

Chartered Accountant (CA) / Certified Financials Analyst (CFA) is mandatory. Diploma / certificate courses in treasury and corporate finance by renowned institutes is added advantage.

Experience

5 - 7 years of post-qualification experience in treasury operations.

Industry

Mandatory experience in a Manufacturing MNC (Pharmaceutical or Healthcare preferred). Prior experience in a bank handling international trade/FX can be mentioned as an added advantage.

Technical Skills

Expert-level command over RBI regulations, banking rules, treasury accounting, and cash flow management.

Systems

Proficiency in SAP;

Soft Skills

Ability to operate independently as an individual contributor with strong stakeholder management skills.
