Manager -Taxation | NBFC

We have an urgent opening for the position of Manager-Taxation in one of the leading NBFC .

• Ensure timely deduction and deposit of TDS.
• Preparation, review, and filing of TDS returns.
• Manage advance tax and income tax compliances.
• Liaise with consultants and tax authorities for assessments and audits.
• Advisory on withholding tax applicability across vendors/transactions
• Ensure compliance with GST laws including filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual returns, and reconciliations.
• Review GST input credit, vendor reconciliations, and ensure accuracy in reporting.
• Advisory on GST implications for NBFC-specific transactions.
• Handle GST audits, assessments, and notices.
• Implement internal checks and controls for tax-related processes.
• Evaluate tax impact on business decisions, contracts, and new initiatives.
• Keep abreast of latest amendments and ensure timely alignment of processes.
• Support statutory and internal auditors with respect to tax-related matters.
• Partner with business, operations, and accounts payable teams to ensure proper invoicing, documentation, and tax compliance.
• Provide training/guidance to internal teams on tax matters.
