Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment Strategy & Workforce Planning

• Develop and execute the annual manpower plan for Service, Projects, Sales, Modernization, and Corporate functions.
• Coordinate with department heads and branch managers to forecast hiring needs.
• Build recruitment strategies specific to elevator industry roles such as technicians, engineers, supervisors, and managers.

2. Sourcing & Talent Pipeline Management

• Manage full-cycle recruitment: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and final selection.
• Use job portals, social media, employee referrals, and headhunting to identify quality candidates.
• Build a robust talent pipeline for niche elevator roles (ERECTION, SERVICE, MOD, SALES).
• Maintain relationships with institutes, training centres, and technical colleges to support hiring.

3. Screening & Interviewing

• Conduct the first level HR screening and coordinate technical rounds with HODs.
• Evaluate candidates for both skill set and cultural fit for Escon Elevators.
• Ensure timely feedback from technical panels and drive closure of open positions.

4. Offer Management & Onboarding Coordination

• Manage salary negotiations within approved budgets and release offer letters.
• Ensure BGV form collection, documentation verification, and coordination with the BGV team before onboarding.
• Work with HR Operations for smooth joining formalities and induction.

5. Recruitment MIS 

• Prepare weekly and monthly recruitment trackers, hiring dashboads, and vacancy status reports.

6. Employer Branding

• Support initiatives to strengthen Escon Elevators employer brand through career fairs, social media hiring posts, employee testimonials, and campus hiring promotions.

7. Stakeholder Management

• Partner closely with business leaders to understand job requirements,timelines, and business priorities.
• Recommend improvements to hiring processes and service-level standards.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of recruitment in technical/engineering or elevator industry roles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, recruitment portals, LinkedIn, and ATS/HRMS systems.
• Good negotiation, interviewing, and assessment skills.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and people orientation.
