Manager-Supply Chain Management

Profile Requirements:

• Having a minimum of 6 years (after B.Tech) / 8 years (after M.Sc) of experience in Raw material procurement from Pharma / Chemical industry.
• B.Sc Chemistry / B.Tech Chemical Engineering is mandatory.
• Exposure to raw material procurement across multiple products / production sites.
• Hands-on experience in Logistics (Air / Sea / Road).
• Working knowledge in SAP / Other ERP systems.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft office, Internet and E-mailing.
• Having good oral & verbal communication skills.

Job Description:

• Understanding of Production planning thoroughly and plan RM procurement accordingly.
• Prepare, procure and handle RM delivery schedule as per changing Production plans.
• Support RM Procurement initiatives with Market intelligence and data for various products on request and proactively.
• Maintain market data for sourcing opportunities and regulatory environment. 
• Identification and realization of cost-saving and cost-reduction opportunities.
• Responsible for Developing new vendors & evaluating existing suppliers for RM procurement.
• Act as the principle contact for formal communications with external companies during the procurement process.
• Monitoring of Inventory levels at Plant and Port.
• Other activities as allotted by HOD.
