Manager Supply Chain (Demand Planning)

Key Responsibilities

• Distribution & Inventory Management: Oversee end-to-end distribution planning across RDCs, define inventory norms, support phase-wise product launches, and optimize RDC space utilization.

• Demand & Forecast Alignment: Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers to validate regional forecasts, monitor forecast accuracy using MAPE, and integrate market intelligence into distribution plans.

• SKU & Stock Optimization: Manage SKU classifications (ABC and lifecycle-based) and partner with Category Heads to optimize stock mix and allocation.

• SLOB & Order Loss Control: Proactively identify Slow-Moving and Obsolete (SLOB) inventory risks, drive liquidation plans, and analyze stockouts to minimize order sales loss.

• Supply Coordination: Coordinate with the Central Supply Planning team to manage ad-hoc demand spikes while balancing plant capacities and regional priorities.

• MIS & Performance Reporting: Develop periodic MIS dashboards and present monthly review decks covering availability, fill rates, Days of Stock (DOS), inventory turns, and MAPE.

• RDC availability versus target

• Forecast accuracy (MAPE)

• Inventory turns and DOS adherence

• SLOB reduction and inventory health

• Order sales loss reduction

• RDC space utilization
