Manager/Sr. Manager, Taxation

Role & responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate compliance with all tax laws and regulations, mainly Income tax filings.
• Review tax-related data and documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• ETR and deferred taxation computation
• Filing of Income tax appeal, ITR, reassessment proceedings
• Preparation of Tax Audit report and transfer pricing audit
• Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on the company's tax compliance obligations.
• Prepare tax-related reports and analysis for internal and external stakeholders, including tax provision calculations, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Prepare financial statements and disclosures related to tax matters in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
• Provide support in the development and implementation of tax strategies to optimize the company's tax position with respect to direct taxes.
• Preparation of Form 15CA/CB
• Ability to handle several assignments involving international tax queries, related litigation at different forums (CIT, ITAT, etc.), withholding tax matters
• Assist in liaising with tax authorities for audit and assessment purposes, providing necessary documentation and information as required.
• Support in responding to tax queries and inquiries from tax authorities in a timely and accurate manner.
• Conduct research and analysis on tax laws, regulations, and rulings to support decision-making and ensure compliance with tax requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

Experience Required (In Years): Minimum- 2 years in tax functions, NBFC preferred
