Manager/Sr. Manager -Road Logistics- Freight Order Head

• Order Lifecycle Ownership: Oversee end-to-end processing of freight orders from initial request to delivery confirmation.
• Capacity Planning: Match cargo volume forecasts with available fleet allocation (owned assets vs. dedicated carriers).
• TMS Administration: Enforce full utilization of Transport Management Systems (TMS) for digital order scheduling, freight tracking, and invoicing.

• Opex Reductions: Drive down immediate operating expenses by optimizing route configurations and enforcing strict fuel-consumption rules.
• Capex Tracking: Collaborate with asset managers to track the financial return on fleet hardware additions, such as vehicle GPS telematics, onboard computers, and trailer upgrades.
• Spot Market Tendering: Balance contract carrier commitments against the spot market to protect freight margins during seasonal demand spikes.

Preferred candidate profile

• Manager Level: 69 years in transport dispatch, freight management, or carrier operations.
• Senior Manager Level: 10+ years with proven experience managing regional or national multi-hub road distribution networks.
• Technical Skills: Deep familiarity with TMS platforms (e.g., SAP TM, Oracle OTM, Blue Yonder) and routing algorithms.
• Analytical Skills: Mastery of logistics cost modeling, freight quote bidding formats, and predictive capacity analytics.
