Manager - Software Engineering

Requirements:

• Minimum and Preferred. Inclusive of Licenses/Certs (include functional experience as well as behavioural attributes and/or leadership capabilities).
• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, and managing a team of engineers.
• Advanced proficiency with Java, the SDLC, and solid knowledge of microservice architecture.
• Proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend libraries/frameworks (ReactJS or similar).
• Strong hands-on knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, Postgres, etc. ), including schema and query design, as well as NoSQL (e. g., DynamoDB) database technologies.
• Hands-on experience building performant web-based user interfaces.
• Demonstrable analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skills.
• Strong foundation in computer science principles, including data structures, algorithms, and system design.
• Great communication and collaboration skills and a strong teamwork ethic with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience in ad tech.
• Experience with programmatic advertising or real-time bidding platforms.

Experience with:

• Spring Boot and related Spring projects.
• Relational databases, such as MySQL or Postgres
• Non-relational database technologies like DynamoDB.
• JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as React, Node.js .
• Caching datastores such as Redis, ValKey, or MemCache.
• Data Streaming Mechanisms such as Apache Kafka and/or AWS Kinesis.
• Cloud platforms such as AWS.
• Modern DevOps tools such as Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• BS or MS in Computer Science / Engineering or relevant work experience.
