About the Role:
We are looking for a hands-on, creative and data-minded Social Media Manager to turn our social channels into a scroll-stopping, share-worthy growth engine. You will own day-to-day social media planning and execution, with Instagram as the primary channel, while supporting other platforms as needed.
The ideal candidate combines strong creative instincts with excellent execution, audience-first storytelling and a test-and-learn approach to growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Planning:
- Build weekly and monthly content plans that grow community and engagement across existing and emerging social channels.
- Define content pillars, formats - including Reels, carousels, Stories and Lives - and compelling story arcs.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice across content and audience interactions.
- Stay ahead of platform trends and identify opportunities to create original trends.
Content Creation & Execution:
- Write engaging captions, hooks, scripts and Story copy in English and Hinglish.
- Bring the brand's purpose to life through relevant, audience-first storytelling.
- Brief and coordinate designers and editors, providing clear references and timely feedback.
- Create quick, phone-shot content when needed, including behind-the-scenes videos, Reels and trend-led content.
- Apply social SEO principles, including keywords, captions and YouTube Shorts basics.
Community & Reputation:
- Manage comments, DMs and broadcast groups with warm, confident and brand-safe responses.
- Use community conversations to encourage engagement and strengthen audience relationships.
- Identify FAQs, audience insights and sentiment trends, escalating issues when required.
- Maintain response SLAs and community guidelines.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with Brand, Performance Marketing, PR, Sales and Marketplace teams to align messaging.
- Coordinate social calendars with product launches and go-to-market plans.
- Partner with influencer and PR teams to repurpose creator content for brand channels.
- Share trends, insights and relevant keywords with the influencer team to support organic discovery.
Performance & Reporting:
- Track weekly and monthly performance and maintain clear, simple dashboards.
- Lead monthly performance reviews, sharing insights and recommendations for what to do differently.
- Run experiments and A/B tests across hooks, thumbnails, captions, posting times and content formats.
Requirements:
- 6 - 10 years of hands-on social media management experience, preferably with consumer brands.
- Strong understanding of Instagram-first growth, including trends, hooks, retention, thumbnails and Story engagement.
- Excellent copywriting and audience-first storytelling skills.
- Comfortable interpreting platform insights, preparing basic reports and using data to guide experimentation.
- Strong understanding of social SEO, including keywords, captions and YouTube Shorts fundamentals.
- Excellent coordination, communication and project-management skills.
Good to Have:
- Basic video-editing skills using CapCut, Premiere Rush, InShot or similar tools.
- Proficiency in Canva.
