Purpose of the Position: Management and realization of chemical plant construction projects with a medium-sized investment volume and/or medium level of complexity. This position manages the lifecycle of technical or engineering projects from inception to completion. They bridge the gap between technical design and management, ensuring deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and to quality specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Situational analysis of production processes as well as preparation for and evaluation of economical solutions/concepts for subsystems on the basis of the given framework conditions, as well as the compilation and presentation of process engineering solutions and know-how packages for the responsible project manager.
• Coordination and integration of assigned areas of responsibility, sub-projects and small projects with consideration for costs and schedule planning, and cooperation between third-party companies and internal departments.
• Regular reporting to customers in consultation with the project manager about project progress and customer care on-site at the plant.
• Project Planning: Define project scope, develop detailed timelines, estimate costs, and allocate resources.
• Technical Oversight: Review engineering designs, write technical documents, and troubleshoot complex engineering problems during execution.
• Team Coordination: Liaise with clients, architects, contractors, and vendors, ensuring clear communication across all teams.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure all work adheres to industry regulations, building codes, and safety standards.
• Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections and track project performance against set goals and budgets.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the chemical industry, including significant exposure to the planning, execution, and commissioning of greenfield projects.

Mobility

Mobility Requirement: Candidate should be flexible and comfortable with relocation, as well as frequent travel between Thane and Jhagadia, as required for project execution and business needs.
