About this role
A boutique cross-border investment and debt advisory firm serving mid-corporates, SMEs and growth-stage enterprises is hiring for a dual-capability role: 70% credit underwriting and structuring, 30% business development.
Credit underwriting & structuring (70%):
- Build and stress-test three-statement models, sensitivity analyses and DSCR / ICR calculations
- Perform credit due diligence - business model, management, operations, industry and ESG
- Structure senior secured, mezzanine / bridge, trade finance and working capital solutions
- Draft information memorandums, credit notes and pitch books for banks, DFIs and private credit funds
- Coordinate lenders on term sheets, pricing, covenants and security through sanction and drawdown
Deal origination (30%):
- Originate mid-market debt advisory mandates in manufacturing, clean energy, agro-processing, trade, healthcare and infrastructure
- Build relationships with CFOs, promoters and treasury heads; represent the firm at industry forums
Relevant backgrounds: credit risk, debt syndication, corporate banking underwriting, credit rating agencies or boutique debt advisory. Exposure to cross-border transactions on offer; compensation is performance-linked.
