Job Description

• Process loan drawdowns and funding, rollovers, interest rate resets, repricing, principal and interest payments, fee processing, repayments, prepayments, renewals, amendments, and commitment changes.
• Maintain accurate facility, borrower, tranche, pricing, accrual, payment, notice, and settlement data based on approved documentation and instructions.
• Review and interpret credit agreements, amendments, fee letters, borrowing requests, lender notices, and payment instructions to ensure accurate transaction processing.
• Prepare and validate transaction notices, payment requests, and supporting documentation within established authorization limits and processing cut-off times.
• Perform daily reconciliations of cash, suspense accounts, general ledger, accruals, commitments, and participant positions.
• Investigate reconciliation breaks, identify discrepancies, resolve routine issues, and escalate unresolved items to the appropriate teams.
• Monitor operational work queues, pending documentation, aged items, and client queries to ensure timely resolution.
• Adhere to maker-checker controls, segregation of duties, authorization limits, access controls, evidence retention, and audit-trail requirements.
• Support management information system (MIS) reporting, standard operating procedure (SOP) updates, cross-training, and knowledge assessments.
• Basic understanding of commercial loan structures, syndicated lending, principal and interest calculations, fees, floating interest rates, and loan payment flows.
• Knowledge of loan lifecycle events, including drawdowns, repayments, rollovers, repricing, renewals, and amendments.
• Ability to interpret standard loan notices, booking data, credit agreements, and operating procedures and translate them into accurate system transactions.
• Understanding of loan servicing data, payment processing, accruals, settlement procedures, and reconciliation activities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, numerical analysis, data validation, and transaction-level accuracy.
• Awareness of operational risk, processing cut-offs, internal controls, audit requirements, and escalation procedures.
• Strong attention to detail, written communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Follow documented procedures and complete transactions within defined service-level agreements (SLAs).
• Perform independent self-checks and ensure appropriate authorization before processing transactions.
• Maintain complete supporting evidence and an accurate audit trail for all processed activities.
• Monitor aged exceptions, investigate outstanding breaks, and escalate operational risks promptly.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, control frameworks, and segregation-of-duties requirements.
