Manager / Senior Fund Accountant (Real Estate Funds - Yardi)

About the Role

We are seeking a technically strong and detail-oriented Manager & Senior Fund Accountant Real Estate Funds to join our growing Fund Accounting team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of accurate and timely accounting services to a portfolio of real estate fund structures.

Key Responsibilities

• Monthly bookkeeping for the entities within the structure
• Prepare and review periodic management accounts, investor reports, and annual financial statements for a portfolio of fund structures
• Calculate and review Net Asset Values (NAVs) in accordance with relevant accounting standards and fund documentation
• Maintain accurate accounting records and general ledgers for fund structures and special purpose vehicles
• Account for investment acquisitions, disposals, valuations, capital activity, and complex fund transactions
• Prepare capital call and distribution calculations and support related investor reporting requirements
• Perform reconciliations of bank accounts, investment holdings, loan positions, and other balance sheet accounts
• Coordinate and manage external audits, including preparation of supporting working papers and liaison with auditors

Preferred candidate profile

Requirements

• Must have previous knowledge of Fund Accounting on Real Estate Funds
• Ideal to have Yardi software experience
• Qualified CA, ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification
• Minimum 4–7 years of relevant experience within fund accounting, asset management, audit, or financial services
• Experience managing audit processes and interacting with external stakeholders
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
