Manager - Security (for Dombivali Location)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Manager – Security to manage complete security operations for a landmark residential project in Thane. The role will be responsible for site security, deployment and supervision of security personnel, incident management, vendor coordination, CCTV monitoring, investigations and liaison with local authorities.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Act as the Security SPOC for the project and manage all site security-related activities.
• Ensure deployment of security personnel at all posts as per company SOPs and security standards.
• Monitor daily security escalations from the site team and take timely corrective and preventive actions.
• Plan and optimize security manpower deployment based on project requirements while maintaining cost efficiency.
• Conduct surprise/night checks to monitor alertness, discipline and performance of contract security personnel.
• Process security vendor bills and ensure proper verification of supporting documents and compliance as per HOD guidelines.
• Maintain complete billing and documentation records for audit and compliance purposes.
• Coordinate with Contracts, Accounts and Billing teams for vendor-related queries and requirements.
• Ensure smooth functioning of CCTV and other security systems and coordinate with IT for timely resolution of technical issues.
• Take proactive measures to minimize pilferage, theft and security incidents at the project site.
• Conduct investigations into security incidents, prepare detailed reports and submit recommendations to the HOD for further action.
• Liaise with TMC, local police and other government authorities for smooth functioning of the project.
• Coordinate with local authorities and other stakeholders to prevent and resolve issues that may cause obstruction to project operations.
• Act as a mediator between management and local authorities/stakeholders wherever required to ensure uninterrupted project activities.
• Ensure compliance with company security policies, statutory requirements and site-specific security protocols.

              Job Requirements :

• 15-20 years of experience in a similar role within the real estate industry.
• Strong knowledge of security management principles, including risk assessment, emergency response planning, and incident reporting procedures.
• Proven track record in developing and implementing successful security strategies that minimize losses and reduce liability.
