Manager - Record To Report/Accounts

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage end-to-end Record to Report (R2R) processes, including General Ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.

- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and management reports.

- Review balance sheet reconciliations and resolve accounting discrepancies.

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements, and internal control policies.

- Coordinate with auditors, tax teams, and cross-functional stakeholders during audits and reporting cycles.

- Drive process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Lead and mentor the R2R team while ensuring SLA and KPI adherence.

- Support ERP enhancements and finance transformation initiatives.

Required Skills:

- 8-10 years of experience in Record to Report (R2R), General Ledger, or Financial Accounting.

- Strong knowledge of:

1. General Ledger Accounting

2. Financial Reporting

3. Month-End & Year-End Close

4. Balance Sheet Reconciliations

5. Journal Entries

6. Accounting Standards (IFRS/IND AS/GAAP)

7. Internal Controls

- Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

- Excellent communication and team leadership abilities.

Preferred Skills:

- CA, CMA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent qualification.

- Experience in Shared Services, Global Capability Centers (GCC), or multinational organizations.

- Exposure to finance transformation, process automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Knowledge of BlackLine, Power BI, or other financial reporting tools is an added advantage.
