About this role
- Lead end-to-end tractor platform development from concept to production.
- Drive product design, development, prototype, testing and validation activities.
- Lead development of major tractor systems including Engine, Transmission, Hydraulic, PTO, 3-Point Linkage, Steering, Brakes and Electrical systems.
- Coordinate with Design, Testing, Homologation, Quality, Manufacturing, SCM and Suppliers for project execution.
- Review design concepts, drawings, BOMs, specifications and engineering changes.
- Ensure tractor performance, reliability, durability and regulatory requirements are achieved.
- Drive prototype builds, field trials, testing and validation and resolve technical issues.
- Conduct DFMEA, design reviews, RCA, VA/VE and cost-reduction activities.
- Benchmark competitor tractors and identify opportunities for product improvement and innovation.
- Track project milestones, technical risks and ensure timely completion of development activities.
- Lead and mentor the R&D design/development team and provide technical guidance.
- Prepare regular project status and technical reports for senior management.
