Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

1. Prepare, review, and validate BOQs (Bill of Quantities) for civil, interior, and finishing works based on approved drawings and specifications.
2. Prepare detailed BOMs (Bill of Materials) covering quantities, material specifications, and project requirements.
3. Perform accurate quantity take-offs and quantification from architectural, structural, interior, and finishing drawings.
4. Prepare BOQs for interior and finishing items, including flooring, wall cladding, false ceilings, painting, joinery, woodwork, doors, partitions, stone, marble, and other architectural finishes.
5. Prepare and verify JMS (Joint Measurement Sheets) in coordination with site teams, contractors, and consultants.
6. Conduct variance analysis between BOQ quantities, actual site measurements, revised drawings, and executed quantities.
7. Identify quantity deviations, scope variations, and potential cost impacts; recommend corrective actions.
8. Prepare detailed quantity comparison statements and reconcile planned, approved, and executed quantities.
9. Coordinate with Design, Planning, Procurement, and Project Execution teams to resolve drawing discrepancies and quantity mismatches.
10. Maintain accurate quantity records, BOQ revisions, measurement sheets, and supporting documentation for commercial control.

Preferred candidate profile

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• Experience: Relevant experience in BOQ,BOM for Interior & Finishing along with Civil material within construction projects.
• Industry Preference: Commercial buildings, hospitals, hotels, IT parks, high-rise buildings, and large-scale construction projects.
